Eddhiee at Stonehenge in England

I browsed through my photos and saw this picture of myself that my friend took when we went to visit a site. We were standing on a slightly bare third floor of a newly unfinished mall and took some photos. Mine was standing still while my eyes creasing because the sun was too bright and I was smiling even though I was wearing my mask.
Well I made this, technically, because I was quite bored with what I was reading at that time and decided to do some artwork.

At first, all I wanted to do was to try and copy what's in the picture minus the background. But then this not so genius idea struck me and I decided to put some background. Although the current background was not the original plan I've decided, in the end, this still turn out pretty well.
It feels like I traveled to England and then went back right away.

Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha)

Wat Phra Kaew in english Temple of the Emerald Buddha, officially called as Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram.

It is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple(wat) in Thailand.  The temple is located in Phra Nakhon District within the Grand Palace which is the heart of bangkok.

As part of our syllabus, we were tasked to make a miniature of our choice from the type of architecture we were assigned. There were Japanese Architecture, Chinese, Thailand, Islamic, Indonesian, and other asian architecture. Our groups on the other hand was assigned to Thailand Architecture. We had a lot of choices since there were a bunce of mesmerizing architecture we could find but we finally settled with this one.

I, on the other hand was assigned to made the Entrance to the Royal Pantheon.
This was my first time making a miniature since last time I didn't get the chance. It was somehow a long process cause I was a bit too preoccupied into carefully making the roof, so it would be as near as to the original. I was also in charge of installing the lights for more points, although this time, we used a ready made led lights to save some time. In the end, it paid all the hard work me and my group mates went through.

After installing the lights, it's ready to go.

This picture was taken after everything is done.

Fallingwater by Arch. Frank Lloyd Wright

The Fallingwater was designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. It was built over a waterfall.

Although ours does not compare of course to the original, this is how it looks like when our instructor was evaluating the miniature we've made.

Our instructor gave us an activity to make a portrait of houses or buildings from famous architects. And after a couple of weeks after our midterm examination, our class were divided into groups and I was assigned to the group that has made the portrait of Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater.

It was then that the miniature we were going to make is this. Although, I wasn't really one of those who made the miniature itself since I was later added to their group. I discovered they've already started and I wasn't informed. When I got there, they were almost done and thought what could I offer that only I can do but will benefit the group?

That was when I told them that, "Why don't we put lights in there? and since I haven't paid my contribution yet, I buy what is necessary for this to work." Then they accepted my suggestion. And while they excited from imagining and bickering how it would look like, I was pondering to myself, "Now I don't feel that frustrated for almost doing nothing since I'm a late comer to their group. I felt needed. Hahah!"

Before I installed the lights.

Trial set-up with the lights in place.

This is how it looks after we turned off the lights.

CAPTAIN

On a whim pastel rendering.

The first one I made was Uzumaki Naruto from Team 7 when I was in high school. I don't know what happened that day but before I know it the journal I was holding or resting on my lap was no longer there and that includes the rendered Naruto, since I inserted it there.

This time's artwork was scanned and stored.
